The stone building seemed like a castle nestling on a hillside as I drove down a steep hill. Look at that view, the mountains tops have snow on them. In the distance high peaks surrounded the area, topped with a white crown of snow. What a place to live. A woman was walking up the hill as we passed. She was not out of breath, and looked used to the steep. Climb Her face seemed unmoved by her surroundings, just looking at her shoes and dusting her coat with.

We look forward to opening this year on Saturday May 26th. Chagford Swimming Pool is situated on the north east edge of Dartmoor National Park. On Sunday 10th Sep we will have a barbeque and cake stall. Chagford Swimming Pool is a beautiful, community run open air, river fed public pool, set on the banks of the Teign.

It was low tide and we swam off a little beach packed with grey pebbles streaked with pink and white quartz The water clasped us in its coldness and I shut my eyes and felt the water, and felt my son. This blog here once was about me and my training for the Devises to Westminster race but I hijacked it with all of the other sports I took up while preparing for the DW, so I have decided to re-invent the blog with a less specific name and a broader goal.
